Soy viajera del mundo y maestra apasionada de español.
I am originally from Loveland, Colorado, a graduate of Thompson Valley High School. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Baylor University, a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish from the University of Northern Colorado, and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education from Regis University.
I am a professionally certified K-12 Spanish educator by the Colorado Department of Education, and have been teaching Spanish for sixteen adventurous years!
My passion for speaking and teaching Spanish comes from my grandfather and Panamanian heritage. Beyond Spanish, my second love is traveling. I have been blessed with opportunities to live in and visit Spain, Perú, Honduras, Chile, Panamá, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, México, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Greece, Canada, and Alaska. I am excited to share my love of Spanish and traveling with the students of Windsor Middle School. Please refer to this website for assignments, vocabulary lists, and opportunities for extra learning or volunteering.
