Meet Mr. Dalton King
Phone Number: 970-686-8600 Ext. 2335
Hello! My name is Dalton King. I am so grateful to be on the amazing 5th grade team working with our incredible students. This is my 7th year at Grandview, my first 5 of which were 2nd grade. 5th grade is an incredible year with amazing curriculum! We are lucky to enjoy a 1:1 Chromebook ratio which opens many exciting opportunities.
I come from a family of teachers. My wife Rosalie is an elementary art teacher in Fort Collins, my parents are both retired teachers from TSD in Loveland, and my twin brother is a High School Social Studies teacher in Brighton.
I graduated from UNC in Greeley in 2010 with my BA degree in Elementary education. I am looking forward to starting my MA degree in the near future. I am also a Workshop Leader for the Math Learning Center where I get to train teachers implementing new math curriculum. In my spare time I enjoy reading books with my son, biking the trails in Fort Collins, traveling around the country and world, reading as many books as I can, and spending time with my family.
I pride myself on the relationships I form with my students and families. My classroom door is always open. Please feel free to stop by anytime.
